The terroir of AOP Languedoc Saint-Drézéry is small,
but with its pebbly soils extremely unusual geologically.
The wines of Mas de Carrat are emblematic of this unique terroir, wines
that resemble no other, are unique to this place and produced in limited quantity.
Inevitably rare, confidential, you might even say.
To be enjoyed now or after several years of cellaring.
This 2019 vintage wine is full of finesse and aromatic complexity. The nose evokes cacao, pepper and blackberry. The palate is well-balanced with delightfully silky tannins.
Wonderful aromatic power. Notes of graphite, zan, cubeb pepper and blackberry. The palate is dense, full bodied and ambitious. A beautiful testimony of the terroir of St Drézéry and a perfect partner for a rack of lamb.
Pale colour with a delightful nuance of pomelo. Subtiles notes of graphite come out on the nose at first, before giving way to fruit and floral aromas (peach, rose). The mouth is vinous and full. A gastronomical rosé wine !
Elegant and complex bouquet made up of notes of mild spices, ginger, lilac and kumquat. The mouth is full and smooth with a pleasant bitter relief.
